RE-view

l o o k i n g b a c k to the review sessions we once used to host outside the library...there is something essesntial that is somewhat lost in the processes that have now overtaken them...due to a lack of time, etc
p e e r r e v i e w is very important in raising questions that could in thier basic nature change the entire course of some of the projects. however, one needs to concider that there are deadlines of which the outcomes will be assesed. which hinders strongly against the "COMING OUT" of honest opinions from the peers and mostly the volunteer base. Like in any other invironment that one would be "new" to -"ENTERING...-...ENGAGING...-...EXITING" are fundemental principles that determin the openess of dialogue from student to volunteer(and stake holders) as they afford everybody a chance to settle in and be relaxed enough to voice thier views as seen at the first council+community presentation at the municipal offices. Hair raising questions from the few volunteers that felt at ease to voice themselves where very much appreciated as this was a defenat sign of "active participation and involvement"
it would certainly be interesting to hear what the volunteers have to say either just befor or on the day of the launch...THE MOST VALUEBLE CRITIQUE will certainly be from the volunteers and stakeholders...in my opinion they should have a strong influence on the marking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
shona malanga...SHONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
